A minor request for the Edit Text panel in V8: Can it be made so that it’s still possible to pan and zoom around viewports when the dialogue is open, without the text cursor losing focus in the panel? At the moment it locks the view; if you haven’t got it cued up as you want it when you call the command, you can’t move around.
There’s also what looks like a minor bug in the dialogue when using Tab for column delineation. In-command, the tab stepping doesn’t match that for previous previous edits. Once the command it quit though, the actual text columns are aligned. It’s a bit distracting.
The grips for the text often stay displayed after exiting the command and the only way to get rid of them is to hit Esc.
