V7 WIP Append - from edge crashing

The append command crashes every single time I try to enable “from edge”.

I also confront same problem. Today, I update newest version: rhino_en-us_7.0.20189.15345
It did not solve this problem.
I create Plane SubD>Click Append to SubD. It will make Rhino 7 NO Reponse. ESC button will not exist this command. I have to End Task.
Please consider this problem.

Me too. I had a single SubD rectangle and I had just clicked on the “Append to SubD” tool and that was it. The first Command prompt, “Select meshes or SubDs to append to:”, was displayed when it hung.

I created a dump file and terminated Rhino. However, the dump file was huge, on the order of 1.7G so that was not real helpful.

It happened again, and I tripped over something that is repeatable: while the “Select meshes or SubDs to append to” Command prompt is showing, clicking on the Help panel tab makes it hang!

Yes @inju, I saw it worked with you all time. There are someone confront problem like me.
I uninstall and reinstall many time.

If there are installed other plugins, try to remove them.

I did not install any plugin for Rhino WIP.

append needs an open subd to attach to…that said it should not die like that.

Just tested it here in (7.0.20204.13215, 7/22/2020) and it’s working well.

RH-59459 is fixed in the latest WIP
