In the attached V5 format file, I made a sphere from the end of the curve (labeled “ctr”) to the point object (labeled “rad”). Turn on the V5 layer to see the results in V5; the V6 layer to see the results in V6.
The reason looks like the fact that the CPlane is set to Front, and for some reason I don’t understand, V6 is trying to do something different with this orientation than V5 is…
