V-Ray Architecture Day Paris
May 16, 10:00 am-6:00 pm
Pan Piper, 2-4 Impasse Lamier
75011 Paris (France)

On May 16th, Chaos Group will host its debut V-Ray Day in France. V-Ray Architecture Day Paris will cover V-Ray for Revit, V-Ray for SketchUp, V-Ray for Rhino, and V-Ray for 3ds Max in presentations by their CG specialists and leading French architecture and visualization professionals.

Among their guest presentations is the French architect and Grasshopper guru Arthur Mamou-Mani with a must-see presentation on rendering in parametric design and fabrication.

Arthur will present the innovative work of his London-based practice. From a 3D printed restaurant in Brick Lane (London) to an algorithmic structure at the Burning Man festival in the U.S., Mamou-Mani Architects has designed, fabricated, and installed close to twenty projects worldwide in the past five years.

Arthur will explain this journey in French, demonstrating the rise of a new kind of architecture, in which designers are becoming makers, software developers, and entrepreneurs. As a long-time user of V-Ray for Rhino and Rhino trainer, Arthur will follow his talk with a demonstration of the new V-Ray 3 for Rhino and his own take on V-Ray RT’s direct integration within Grasshopper.
