V-ray and VisuArq

Hi,
is it possible to texture each part of wall with different material for rendering? I need to place texture from interior, exterior and around windows/doors. Everywhere place different one.

In V-ray (also in other rendering sftwrs) I am applying texture to selected objects. So in VisuArq I need select just part of the wall to do that. How can I do that?

Thank you!

Hi @Vaclav_Simecek you can assign different materials (including VRay’s) to each wall layer, from the wall styles dialog, selecting the corresponding component:

However, it is not possible to control the texture mapping on each component individually. Something you can try is to assign the material that requires to have a texture mapping directly to the object (so you can edit it to the object directly), and make sure that the components to which you want to see that material have the material set to “By Object”. Those that have a different material assigned will ignore the material assigned to the whole object (a wall in this case).
Or, you can use materials that integrate a WCS Mapping (like Rhino’s). But I ignore if VRay materials have this feature.
