I just saw the new RC v1.26 and I can’t really figure out what it is about. :thinking:

Can you elaborate a bit on the release notes and what’s the use case or what is now possible that wasn’t before?

It sounds like it enables new possibilities for scripts that are loaded in the ribbon?

  • Now Grasshopper con compute solutions when expired on background. This enables:
    • File parameters that are synchronized.
    • Trigger component when is in timer mode.
    • Potentially any NewSolution() called while Grasshopper is not active.

Hi @Lukas_Mahlendorf,

It basically enables these three components to run while the Grasshopper canvas is not active.

And potentially any third party Grasshopper plugin that fires a new solution while the Grasshopper canvas is not active.

Feels like that these changes are opening up a range of new workflows. I’ll give it a try soon.
