UV settings don't remain at OrientOnSrf

There is an object with the UV settings, when using the option OrientOnSrf for an object - the UV settings as a result are lost. How to correct it?

How in general to change UV of the object, but not his texture? It, probably will correct a problem…

Can you post an example .3dm file?

Hi Modeler3d - the object’s UV and the mapping it uses for textures are not necessarily the same - you can modify how the textures is applied, as with the planar mapping that you show, but this does not modify the surface’s UV parameterization.

Hi Pascal, means it is necessary that an object moved (at OrientOnSrf) together with UV control.

Gumball moves an object together with the UV control…

Hi Modeler3d - OrientOnSrf makes a completely new object with its own UV and its own texture mapping - you’d need to set the mapping again on the the final object. I’m not sure I understand what the question is…

I have understood. I thank!

It is a pity that UV doesn’t remain for a new object…
