Hi there,
Noob here starting with UV editing.
I have this object, that I tried to UV edit, but in the UV editor it appear way to tiny. is my way of unwrapping it that is incorret?
I have to zoom like hell to see the mesh. I can’t do much of editing.

I suggest you first remove the previously defined UV mapping, then redefine a new one for your reference.

@jessesn thank you. it works indeed better.
I found this great basic video for R7 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQW1ke4cdII&t=174s
Maybe in R8 there is a different workflow ? I’m a bit confuse with the UV editor. Is this replacing the old way ?
Also for my example, why the unwraping cmd doesn’t output what I expect when I select the two seams correctly?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for this report, I’ve filed it for the developers as RH-90229 Object makes extremely thin island

Hello Brian,
I’ve experienced this and similar situations myself. I’m sorry I can’t provide an example, but this problem occurs more frequently when I assign material while UV Editor is open.
If I encounter the same problem again soon, I will add the images to this link.
