Using Trial software alongside Zoo

We are using Zoo to share a single Rhino license between two engineers (We are a small company and only use Rhino intermittently for a single client). When the license is in use the second engineer is locked out completely but it would be useful if they could still use the software as a viewer (as you can in the stripped down trial version).
Can anyone advise whether there is a way to switch between a zoo license and a standalone trial version?

The only way I can see is to delete the local license files each time but its not very practical.

Good idea.

I’ll ask @dale or @brian how hard this is. If it is not too hard, maybe we can get it into a Rhino 5 service release. If it is too painful, it will need to wait until Rhino 6.
