Hi all,
If I know the views’ name, is that possible I can ask RIR to open the view/ set the specific view to the active view? I know you can do similar things using the search function on the Project Browser. But what I want to do is: I would save the views I want in the GH panel, everytime I open the project file I can immediately open the frequently-used views.
Hi Jack, I’ve added your post to the existing feature request.
You can try the below quick setup a try and let us know how it goes…
RiR_SetActiveView.gh (7.5 KB)
We added ‘Open View’ component in v1.18.
You can use it like this to query the actual state of the view.
Or like this to open those views
Or like this to close them all.
Thanks guys~ I test it and it works~ Amazing!!
I wonder if we have similar components can help to open a specific sheet?
Ah… I see, you can use the same set of components to open both views and sheets. I get it now, thanks Japhy.
One more question: I cannot find RIR 1.18 version. I can only find the 1.17 version, does it work as well?
In the Rhino.Inside.Revit Ribbon please go to the More>Options>Updates and select the release you would like to run & get updates on.
OK, thanks Japhy
