I only use Rhino 6 to view models and designs that others produce. Basically, I am just looking at the model to get layout details. I downloaded R6 and used it during the evaluation period, but now that is over and I am getting asked to “Add a License”. R5 allows users to view files without having to buy a license. Has that changed or is this a bug?
Yes. I’m guessing you put your eval license in the Cloud Zoo.
It needs to be added locally to work as a viewer.
On the Rhino home page, click on “my account” or “sign in”, provide your credentials if asked, and remove your expired license from your Personal licenses.
Then in Rhino, add the license locally.
