Using Metric and Imperial at the same time?

When you draw a line in grasshopper, at the bottom of the screen its length appears

Is it possible to display this length in both imperial and metric?

Alternatively, is it possible to switch from metric to imperial using a keyboard shortcut?

I am unfamiliar with the imperial system and therefore getting immediate on-screen feedback in both feet/inches and millimeters would make modelling a lot more efficient.

Could this be achieved using Grasshopper or any other plugin?

That length feedback is provided when you are drawing a line in Rhino, not Grasshopper.
That field only provides information in the document’s units property.

In that case, I would use a template in metric units. You can always define an annotation style that shows both metric and imperial units. But that would be for dimensions that you place after the line is created.
