Using a script to create and connect instances in Grasshopper?

Hello,

Like mentioned in the topic, I’m wondering if I can create instances in Grasshopper and connect them using Script Editor with Python while I’m in Rhino interface. Like is this a functionality provided by GrasshopperSDK?
