Hello,
-system information at the end.
I’ve taken a 3-ish month break from modelling and getting back into it, and have now found all of my models, including newly created ones entirely unusable because of this strange gumball issue that has randomly occured.
The issue is that all objects have entirely random gumball orientations. This includes old objects, in files as much as a year old (the oldest on my system), or entirely new objects. For most objects the gumball is simply adjusted, however, for objects from plugins like Vray, which I use a lot, they’re completely discombobulated.
The 5 following pictures are from a completely new file, with freshly created or imported objects.
-I have used a fresh installer to run Rhino Repair, Rhino Uninstall and Reinstall, this has not worked.
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vray for Rhino 8, this has not worked.
-GumballReset does not work.
-GumballRelocate DOES work, however, it’s not feasible to GumballRelocate every single object.
Other Information:
This bug does not happen to circular objects, cylinders, spheres, etc.
I have not edited, updated, installed or uninstalled any of these files to my understanding, besides copy and pasting them into a google drive. Even so, the original files are all facing this issue.
Help!!! This has been very frustrating, and I cannot find someone with a similar problem, and no fix seems to work.
