Upgraded to rhino 8 on Mac and can’t open rhino anymore

I have upgraded from rhino 7 to 8 on Mac.
On my account I am able to see all my licenses but I am unable to connect the license to my laptop. When I open rhino 8 it instantly closes and tells me I don’t have the license for it. But I can’t type the license key in anywhere.
