They are both installed in separate folders, could you not just make separate folders inside C:\Users\username\AppData\ as well?

Do you not see separate 7.0 folder under %APPDATA%\McNeel\Rhinoceros next to the 6.0 one?
Yes, I see it:
It was an assumption since I get that popup after numerous restarts of RhinoWIP.
After a certain number it started just blinking up.
This is the same when if you install several plugins to rhino, you need more than one restarts to get them all loaded. I reported this a while ago.
