The default render mesh settings need to be updated so that the results are (usually) displays without apparent gaps, overlaps and wrinkles. The current defaults are fundamentally too coarse and result in users assuming there are problems with their geometry… Most computers used with Rhino today can easily handle settings which result in a more refined mesh and eliminate most of those perceived problems. In the meantime folks try Rhino, see geometry problems, don’t know that they are expected to change mesh settings, and assume that Rhino is a fault. They tell others that Rhino has problems with accuracy and move on to other software.
