I had a crash before i saved a file. I did not get the recover option when I restarted.
Is there any possibility the file exists?
If so, where?
use cmd shift g in your finder, then use this path with your own username /User/THEEASTERBUNNYISREAL/Library/Autosave Information
or press alt and click in your tab GO TO the library appears then navigate to the folder autosave information, any luck?
