I’m just trying to apply this script from the Grasshopper forums but I can’t identify the component type after the similarities, could someone help? I tried opening the ghx. files in the forum site but those files won’t open.

It must be a sort of Gate And from a plugin, a Legacy can could do the job.

Hello. Similar problem here. I tried Rhino 8, and went back to Rhino 7, and now when I open files I sometimes find empty components, which I have no idea what they were. Sometimes, while opening, I get the message that standard Gh components are missing, like Shift Path. More often, I have no idea what was there. Anyway to discover it? Or any idea what could have been in the one in the picture (4 instances of it !) Thanks!

Not without opening it with the necessary plug-ins installed. When you launch Grasshopper and open a file with missing components, you will be presented with a list. If the file was created with default components in Rhino 8 and shows missing components in Rhino 7, you’ll have to open it in Rhino 8 - or make sure to use the latest version of Rhino 7 that fixes at least one instance of this happening.
