Uneven spacing between contours or fixing a non planar shape

HI, I’m trying to keep my contours consistent throughout my surface but it only closes 2/4 surfaces. I’m basically trying to keep my contours even while still leaving some edges sticking out.. I don’t want them fully closed off at the edges. I’ve been trying to figure it out but it’s also been suggested to me that my shape is non planar which also causes issues but I don’t even know how to go about fixing that. I really need help.

Well yes and no. I had no issues in getting that with 2/4 (red) of the sides but i need that same consistency with the other sides (blue).
