I have just started using SubD objects, specifically the SubDSphere command, however when I try to “SetPt” to 0 on the z axis, it comes up with “unable to transform 1 object”. Im using rhino8 currently. I first deleted the top half of the sphere and want to set its z to 0 to make it flat but it’s not working. !

BTW, I’d like to know which version of Rhino 8 are you using now? Could you run command SystemInfo in the command line of Rhino and copy-past its output here.

Ran into the same problem, instead of a unhelpful message like “Unable to transform” Rhino could just tell you to turn on the control points, or just transform the SubD already?
Why do the points have to be on for this type of deformation to work?

This also applies to SetPt and ProjectToCPlane, why can’t Rhino just consider the points for the transformations, even if they’re not turned on?
