Unable to select hidden objects when using flow and flowAlongSrf

When using flow and flowAlongSrf, if the curve or surface, which is the criterion for selecting objects to be processed with flow, is obscured beyond the object like a rendering view or shaded view, there is a phenomenon that it cannot be selected. In Rhino 5, even if it is obscured by other objects, it will be selected well if the object is located where I want to click.

Hello - I see this, thanks. Picking has been changed some since V5, I am not sure how that has affected this case, but I will get it on the list for the developer to look at.
RH-64786 FlowAlongSrf picking behavior

-Pascal

In Rhino 5, as with general selection, hidden objects are selected well in flow or Sf flow. In Rhino 7, if the change is intended to prevent the selection of obscured objects, I think it is a downgrade in terms of convenience. Can’t we roll back the selection like Rhino 5?

  1. Also, why doesn’t the polyline or surface erected in the X-axis not show up in the floor plan even after 2 years?
