Unable to rename layers in Version 5.0 WIP (5A772w)

Every time that I attempt to rename a layer it defaults back to the name that it appears with originally i.e. change Layer 7 to plasterboard automatically returns to Layer 7.

I don’t know if there’s a quick fix around this or if it’s a problem that is unique to my system.

Hi David - how are you changing the name, via double-click or from Edit Layer in the context menu, or? So far all work here - does it happen in any file for you, or one particular file?

Not sure if this helps or not, and it’s also 3 years later… sorry. Anyway, I had this problem because I was drawing a line (plotted one point and was about to plot another), and I tried to rename a layer. I think the problem for me was that I was currently in the middle of an operation and you can’t rename layers while undergoing an operation.
