Hello developers, I’m running a simulation and I’m having problems that I can’t solve, inside the attachment is my model. I now need to use wallacei to perform calculations for multi-objective optimisation, but even though I only set up 10 various clusters with 10 iterations, the computer has been calculating for days and still has no results. I used wallacei inside grasshopper to connect a few sliders of honeybee model as genes, and honeybee has no problem in simulating a single model directly. But now I am just changing the settings of the model by sliding combinations of sliders, and then I connect into wallacei and I can’t calculate anything, the runtime position hasn’t been changed in any way, but then I see that the sliders are moving all the time. I would like to know what is the problem?

Hi,
there has been some reports of Wallacei grashing with Honeybee components.
Can you try using Colibri and see if you can repplicate the problem? It exports the results to a CSV file in real time - so you would now if the problem lies inside Honeybee itself or it creating the problem with Wallace.
I don’t have all the nodes to replicate your problem.
I will need to look at your file more in detail but in general Wallacei and Honeybee are compatible. We use this combination quite often in our projects. My students have been coupling Wallacei and Honeybee quite frequently too. I will check out the file as soon as I get a chance and I will get back to you.
Hi Milad,
sorry for spreading misinformation then. Maybe that were isolated incidents.
Bearing this in mind - I would definitely test Wallacei in my research project.
Cheers!
Thank you very much for your willingness to help me. I am eagerly awaiting your reply.
Thank you for your response! I will look into this plugin.
