Unable to control the orientation of the triangle

Hi all,

I made this triangular panel that has an arrowhead (in yellow)

However, due to the order of the points, the triangles are pointing in a certain direction.
Could you give me some advice on how to achieve the following?

Current orientation

Desired control to orient the arrowhead towards centre of a pack of 6 triangles Or even randomise the orientation of the arrowhead.

Grasshopper file attached.

Thank you in advance!

Hi.

First if you are using any plug-ins it’s best to specify it, because not everyone has the same plugin. I had to download it.

Funny thing is I didn’t use it at all.

If you want a relation to the cell centers then you first need to create your grid with that relation embedded into it, that is have all 6 triangles of a hexagon belong to the same list. If not you are never going to achieve it.

Also I think you were overly complicating things to generate your shape with boolean intersections when its just a filleted polyline moved in space.

Thank you, Shynn!
It gives me a new idea of how to achieve it.
I have recreated the grid to maintain the order.

I use the Boolean, as i would like the triangle panel to have a convex quality to it.
Is there a better way to create it otherwise?

Also curious to know if i want the arrowhead to be randomly oriented within the cell. How could that be achieved?

I guess you can randomly rotate the shapes after by increments of 120 degrees.
