The objects in the first gif below were shift/ctrl selected from the groups in which they each reside. One was unselected but remains highlit - as if selected - though it is not; gumball moves do not affect it. In the second gif, the group with the improperly-displaying object is selected and deselected, which breaks the bad spell here. But it’s concerning that a group edit could be applied which doesn’t affect all the objects aparrently selected. Am I missing something? Current Rhino.
Hi David -
Can you post a file with just those groups?

Here it is:
NonSelectedDisplaySelected.3dm (2.0 MB)
Wow, this file crashes Rhino when I try to open it.
See the attached file - Rhino crashes every time if I try to open it.

Hi David -
Thanks. I have VA installed so this file doesn’t crash on my system but I’m not able to reproduce the behavior that you are reporting.
I notice from your screenshot, though, that the gumball is centered more to the left than it is when I select all text objects - which indicates that the text object on the right is, in fact, not selected. If you can reliably reproduce the behavior where you get this to be highlighted but not selected, please let me know the steps to take.

It seems you have an old version of Tibidabo which had a problem with a change in Rhino 7 SR5 related to how Rhino describes not available fonts in the system. Just update VisualARQ and Lands, and the crash should be gone.
