I wonder if there are any type fonts designed for work in Rhino/CAD, which are constructed with a clean geometry. If you look at the usual fonts, they look amazingly crooked … with plenty of unnecessary control points. This is Times Roman, and that is still somewhat okay … would appreciate any hints, before going to construct my own … Thanks! Jan
Hello - In general no, as you’ve discovered, curves from text are not suitable, as is, for clean modeling. I have no idea if there are clean ones out there but it seems unlikely as the tools for making these are just not the same as for drawing ‘proper’ curves.
Too bad! But thank’s for letting me know … so seem’s like it’s the old ‘back to the drawing board’ …
