Twisting Axis in relation to size of Point along Curve - GH

Hi gang,

Can someone explain to me how the change in scale of a line, affects the curvature of the twist?
Id imagine somehow to the scale of the point on axis is the reason; the bigger the point/sphere around the point, the smoother the curve?

the length of the axis defines the extents of the transformation.
The algorithm goes something like this:
“twist the geometry along this direction by so many degrees, starting from here and ending here”
