'TweenSurfaces' does not allow to specify an output layer

Hi there,

Why the ‘TweenSurfaces’ command doesn’t allow to specify an output layer?

In contrast, ‘TweenCurves’ does:

The reason why I consider it to be a major flaw:

If you perform ‘TweenCurves’ on worksession referenced geometries (with “OutputLayer=CurrentLayer” option), the output is added to the current active document, which is in my opinion the expected result and allows further editing.

‘TweenSurfaces’ kind of temporary adds the new geometry on the referenced layer, which is by definition locked. The created geometries also can’t be saved nor edited or deleted. Once added, the only way to get rid of it, seems to close the worksession and re-open it.

Is there a particular reason why these two commands won’t behave similarly?

Thanks!

Hello - that looks like a mistake - thanks for pointing it out.
But…I cannot reproduce this- the result ends up on the current layer in my tests. Can you post an example?
