Nice example, @architect.civil5 ! Currently, the number of output curves is much larger in the non-free version (5 vs 50). If you can help the development of Tweener either by leaving a review on food4rhino, or leaving a post somewhere, or a donating a small amount, and then run the command Tweener_MacAddress and write me the result to mathias@mathiasfuchs.com, then I’ll send you a license file for your MAC address to enable the many-curves-Tweener. Hi Mathias,
I’m new to grasshopper and I’m trying to make contours using tweening. I used the Pufferfish Tween Consecutive Curves node and I found the issue you mention in your node library description, contours forming under other contours.
I can’t understand how to use your tools though. I opened the example above but I find it confusing and I don’t seem to be able to use curves at different Z heights. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, has anyone made an indept explainer video about it? I found your video but I was still confused and I haven’t found any others.
Do I need the pro version to create more than 2D contours?
The method I’m looking to create is to take contours at 500mm intervals, tween between them and then extract the points from the curves and feed them to a Revit topography.
Sorry I’m at the start of the grasshopper journey, learning fast but it seems I’m fairly far behind.
Thank you for your help.
You don’t need the pro version for 3D, @scottyvalentine ! The third and fourth example on this example collection show how contours can be done with Tweener.
I think Tweener is a very nice app to play around with. Definitely useful for me. I would like to try the Pro version but I don’t have social media. Is there another way to obtain a gibberish (as the artist himself calls it: “-- consisting of gibberish 40 characters --”) pro key?
Thanks a lot, @ohmarinus ! Just wrote you a message.
