A couple of weeks ago, i enabled animations when switching between named views… for the life of me, i can’t find the option to turn it off. Where is it hiding? 
If you type -NamedView, then Restore, there should be an option Animate=Enabled… Set it to Disabled…

Would it make sense to have the Animation option on the Viewport Properties panel?
