Tufting, using Bryan James youtube video

Hello, what settings or selections, if any need be made to duplicate Bryan’s youtube video entitled Tufting in Rhino 3D?

I create a Nurbs plane, holding down shift (nice shortcut) to draw a square. The result is not shaded by default. I type in rebuild, and no window opens to select point degree. I cannot push or pull the expected “rubberized” surface up or down. What’s missing? If certain settings need to be selected before drawing the initial square, they are not shown.

I am running Rhino7 (fully updated) on an HP Zbook workstation using Win10.

Any help appreciated.

Hi @antons9871
What does the command prompt tell you, when you start the Rebuild command? And does it let you select the NURBS surface you created using the Plane command? Will the surface shade if you switch the viewport to Shaded mode?
HTH, Jakob

Hi Jakob, oddly I found it shaded when I awakened the laptop from sleep an hour later. Rebuild command worked as well. The laptop, I would think, is not slouch, with a Xeon E3, Quadro1000M video card, and 16 GB of RAM. Yes, not a rocket ship but I’m not using this box for any rendering, with rare exception. It did NOT select the NURBS surface with multiple attempts previously. Perhaps some lag issue?

Regards, Anton
