Trying to make a deployable scissor structure bridge

I’m trying to make a scissor structure deployable bridge. Can any one help. I’ve attached a picture of what I would like it to look like at the end.

This is for a case study on Jet d’Eau bridge.

I’m very new to grasshopper so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure any of these are relevant - some are very old: [image] This works. Uses Anemone to repeatedly ‘Mirror’ the first ‘X’. Set lengths (‘AL’, ‘BL’) and pivot points (‘AC’, ‘BC’) separately. ‘Scale’ affects both. ‘Open’ flexes the scissors. [scissors_2017Mar22a]
