Trying to Login with McNeel account not working?

I think logging in with McNeel account currently doesn’t work. I have tried without VPN as well.

I just tested this, and it worked for me. It might have been a temporary problem. Could you try again?

Which browser are you using?
Does an error show up on the browser console?
As a temporary workaround for you, shall we change your account to a password-based login?

Yes please change it over to password based login, still not working today.

Just figured out the root cause: Your account got suspended because the subscription of the organisation it is linked to got cancelled. The platform doesn’t display the message and instead shows “Not implemented yet”, which is obviously a bug that will get fixed.

Ha ha, ok. Wonder if they even know that they cancelled the subscription. I’ll chase that up, thanks for letting me know.

It still should log me in though, even if I don’t have a valid subscription?

FYI, subscription is now getting sorted, got stuck at accounts dep.

The issue is this: The user you are trying to log in with is member of an organization account, and got suspended because the subscription got cancelled. Apparently displaying the corresponding feedback message doesn’t work in case of SSO login.

Shouldn’t it just revert me back to the free version of subscription is cancelled?

I am sorry this case isn’t properly documented, we will improve this. What happens is this:

  • The subscription of the organization account got cancelled.
  • This lowered the maximum number of users of the organization to one, which causes all users of the organization except one to be suspended, making sure that one of the owners of the organization stays active. Another user is the owner of the organization, whose account was not suspended.
  • Ideally the owner of the organization would have a possibility to remove suspended users from the organization. This functionality doesn’t exist currently on our platform, we will implement that.
  • In case you want your user removed from the organization right now, please ask the owner of the organization to authorise this by sending an email to contact@shapediver.com
