Hi there. I am trying to install rhino 5 in Windows 10. The program installs but when I start it , I don’t get the options for units, etc for a new work space. Also, when I try to run emap I get no options for materials. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled three times with the same results. Any suggestions?
Sounds like the install of your your localization folder failed - it has templates, e-maps, etc.
Do you have a folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Localization ?
If so does it have at least one subfolder like en-US inside which has some subfolders like Environment Maps, Template Files, etc.?
Edit - I couldn’t remember what the fix was for this, there are instructions for fixing it on this page.
