Trim and Rectangle Selection Issue

When i want to trim some lines it trims only the lines that are showing in the viewport. So if you zoom while selecting the curves that are trimmed are only the ones that are currently visible on the viewport

However that is not the case when using the rectangle selection tool for selection.
