I designed a voronoi chair and a grid cylinder in Rhino and Grasshoper. I will do the static analysis of these designs in analysis programs like SolidWorks. To do this, I need to open the designs as solid bodies in the program and when I open the files I have, I get a warning for the cylinder that “The STL file is too large to import a solid model”. I also reduced the chair to 1 mesh with help from the forum, but when I try to open it, I get a warning that there is no solid model. I asked Chat gpt about this and GPT said that you could not open it as a solid model because the number of triangles was too high. I think I need to reduce the triangles. I would be very happy if you could help me with this.
