Hello, I am currently testing Rhino 8 and have some questions.
Unfortunately, the ‘Delete’ key is no longer working when trying to delete an object, for example an surface model.
Surfaces remain that are difficult to delete.
Is it possible to assign a number key to the delete command?
I have another question: Where is the ‘PushPull’ command located?
Could you please help, thanks Barb
Hi Barbara89,
Please run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post your results. Thanks!
Hi Japhy,
What specific system information do you need?
Rhino 8 SR3 2024-1-9
The entire output of the that command _SystemInfo
.
After a restart, the “delete” function works again. There are interesting colors to see for that. Perhaps my computer has a problem with its graphics card. Thank you very much.
Looks like an old radeon card & driver. Try updating and turning off gpu tessellation in the Options>View settings.
Yes, indeed, the driver was outdated. Rhino 7 worked quite well with this driver. After the update and reinstalling Rhino 8, the program is now running smoothly, and all the new tools are available.
Just for your information: lots of changes have been made to the code that is responsible for drawing. The GPUs are being used even more extensively than before. Older drivers can’t always do what need to be done. The updated drivers are capable of running how we require them to.
