If you download SpiderWeb v3.2 from food4rhino, there are some example scripts packaged in the zip file that may help. At this post in the old grasshopper3d forum, the creator Richard Schaffranek points to another website where he says he was going to migrate the documentation, but chrome throws errors when trying to visit the link.

In the end I decided to do this in QGIS as it has a bit more tools for these sorts of things and has some documentation/ tutorials around.
