Transparency inconsistencies?

Hello all,

I wanted to ask about a certain issue with seeing objects through transparency that seems inconsistent to me.

In the above picture, I have a sphere inside a partially transparent blue slab. The sphere is correctly obscured by the slab.

However, in this picture when I move another slab onto the blue slab and sphere, without changing anything else, suddenly the sphere is uncovered and fully visible.

Is there a way to fix this so that the sphere is obscured properly?

Hello - in the OpenGL preview (Rendered display mode) , I don’t know, I’ll have a try, but a raytraced viewport or rendering should be correct.
