Transfer an .rtml file into Rhino 8 Mac

I saved a texture that was a .jpg format into a .rtml format. It was saved into a dossier that was not inside Rhino. I want to transfer that texture to the Rhino Materials dossier in Rhino. Can I do that?

When you save an RTML file and check the option to embed support files (image texture files) you don’t need to worry about such textures.

You can just freely share such RTML files without having to separately provide the image texture files.

Hi Nathan,
I don’t think I explained my problem well enough.I opened the « Picture » command in the materials file and selected my picture. In the materials window it was a .jpg file. I choose « save to file » and saved it as a .rtml file. When saved it went into the folder chosen but that folder was not the Rhino materials folder with all the native .rtml files. What I wanted to do was save my picture into materials folder have immediate access rather that searching for it. I did save all the elements when I transformed it into the .rtml format.
Thanks
Joe

With Rhino 8 the easiest way to get fast access to your hand-made materials is by saving them to a folder that you add to the Render Libraries panel.

From that panel you can directly drag onto an object the next time you need that material.

Here a quick video how to do that:
