Topview에서의 폴리라인 표시문제

Vertical polyline displayed normally in the top view in Rhino5 are not displayed in the Rhino7 top view.

Hi - please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here. It looks like you might be running an outdated version of Rhino.
-wim

This is the latest version updated yesterday.

We have this issue on our list as RH-53520.
As a workaround, you can increase the curve display width to 5 in the display mode settings. At that point, the curve becomes visible head-on.
-wim

This is not a workaround. This is because all curves are displayed thick. As in the Rhino 5 version video, it should be displayed in pixels when the thickness is 1.

RH-53520’s display width 5, which is the answer to the previous inquiry, is not a solution. The reason is that the normal front view, side view, and perspective view all appear thick, which interferes with visibility. Like Rhino 5 version, when width is 1, it should be displayed as 1pt in topview.
Also, if the width is greater than 5, it is displayed in the Top View. It doesn’t make sense that the widths from 1 to 4 are displayed as 0pt.

Hi - I’ve merged your last post into your previous thread - there is no reason to start a new thread.
As I said, the issue is on the list as RH-53520. I never said that setting the display width to 5 px was the solution to the issue, it’s a workaround in case you absolutely need to see curves head-on. Of course, this will affect the thickness in all viewports in the same display mode.

Are you saying that you are making corrections so that you can see 1pt in topview?
you are so cool!

Hi -

As stated in that YT item, my expectation is that it should work as it does in Rhino 5. It is on the list of a developer to look into this.

The RH-53520 number is a topic that has been published two years ago, but I hope this time it will be resolved.

thank you!
