Topographic like wall

Hi everyone! I’m trying to create a wall like this one:

But I don’t even know where to start… I tried creating curves through random points, but that’s just to chaotic… anyone has any pointers?

Just section nurbs that has lots of distortion, higher than the section step size

Create a surface based on perlin/simplex noise and cut a ton of sections - should be quite simple.
This plugin is great for perlin/simplex noise surfaces/meshes in grasshopper:

As Petras mentions, you can slice through a base surface. Then just ‘jitter’ the curve, as randomly or as regularly as you wish. You just need to make sure you have a unique random seed, or control the seed so that you have some regular jitters and some more irregular.
