I notice in Rhino 7 that the Top, Front, Left standard view tabs now depend on the current Cplane in the Perspective tab. This is quite annoying for the type of work we do. Is there any setting that will revert this to rhino 6 behavior (no reliance on perspective Cplane)?
I don’t clearly understand your description.
It sounds like someone has turned on “Universal construction planes” in Options > Modeling Aids.
The default is Standard.
Universal keeps them all linked so when you change the CPlane in one viewport, the CPlanes in the other viewports change too, keeping them normal to each other.
Standard keep them independent, so changing the CPlane in one viewport has no effect on the other viewports.
