Toon or special effect material on regular shader

Hi there,

is it possible to create/render a toon material (or any other special effect material) on the regular shader, among other parts having a normal rendering mode/material?

My goal is to be able to “ghost out” some parts which are not relevant, having no shadow applied to it or only having a contour, but leaving the other parts which I want to focus on with regular rendering material/shader?
Something similar can be achieve in Keyshot with a Toon material.

See example below, where I only want to focus on the grip material.

You can use the _SetObjectDisplayMode command and apply the render view to the objects.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but definitely does the trick.

You need only to change the visual style and you should get what you are looking for.
You set all objects to a chosen style and the general style to render or do the opposite.
