Not sure for how long this is already there but I don’t see a benefit of the little vertical text showing the name of the current toolbar tab…
Hi Martin -
I’m not seeing that here:
From the “Default Window Layout”, I moved the selection filters panel to the end of the top toolbars as in your image.
From that Default Window Layout, which steps do I take to reproduce this behavior?
-wim
I don’t know when it appeared.
It was gone now after dragging the entire container into the viewport and docking it back to where it was.
Now after closing and opening Rhino it’s here again.
I reset Rhino and it’s gone again.
Dragged both Osnap and Selection Filters out of their container into the Standard toolbar container and the vertical name is here again.
It seems whenever a toolbar is added to the Standard toolbar container the vertical name appears.
Before resetting, my right side toolbar was using the entire height of the screen.
What’s the command to revert back to this?
Hi Martin -
That’s an option in the advanced settings:
Rhino.Options.Advanced.UseEntireWidthForTopBand
-wim
Hi Martin, Wim - thanks, with tall side toolbars and Selection Filters, I can reproduce this.
