Tool pallet keeps disappearing

This is generally how I have Rhino setup these days:

But lately I’ve been having a really annoying issue where the ‘select’ pallet disappears 30 times a day.

Obviously I have to hurdle over this issue by flying out the pallet and dragging it back into position every time.

Maybe there’s a secret new setting that makes it disappear? Can I turn it off?

hi @lander can you send me a screenshot of what you see in _Containers ?
Also when you say it disappears, does that just happen during modeling, or at restart?

I think it’s happening usually after switching between programs or maybe even from exiting ‘fullscreen’.

Yep, it just now happened after exiting ‘fullscreen’. It might happen from other scenarios too idk. I do use fullscreen quite a bit.

I can repeat the behavior, but I also found a workaround:

1. In containers, add a new container. Name this container something like select_custom
2. In the right side of the dialog, find the select toolbar and drag this into this new container
3. Close the container dialog and save the Window Layout.

The above gives a returning select toolbar here after closing Fullscreen

I’m not familiar with this. I did just save one, buuut … Where is the directory for that?

No need to save or export ‘container’?
