The issue I have when using Rhino 8 and Wip 9 is the behavior of the toolbars not hiding when selecting a command and not being able to toggle the visibility of active toolbars (e.g. by screen edges) and is similar to the issue mentioned by me for the rhino 7 release, which issue was very well solved by Dan and the team as shown in the below conversation. This made Rhino modeling to a smooth and fast workflow designing medical equipment. I hope very much that the development team implements these features again (“ToggleActiveToolpallettes” & “Hide tool palettes when starting commands”)

This would be great, reason mentioning it only now is because the medical device projects I run can go for a long time and I never switch to a new version in a project. So I was still working in Rhino 7 Mac 
. Now the project is finished i want and need ( Mac not supporting Intel chipset based software in near future) to version 8 for Mac. I need to rebuild all my personalized menus from last years (some originated from Rhino 5 Mac) in to Rhino 8 Mac Menu toolbars and containers because the menus from Rhino 7 Mac and earlier are not compatible. therefor I only noted now that the menu behavior has changed (for MAC users) and some (Mac) commands are not implemented.
The reason I asked specific for this feature is because I use this functionality almost with every command i use.
Simply said all my +/-350 most used commands are just one mouse swipe away (screen edge activation) this pops up my personal toolbar, I then select one of these commands by a single mouse click activating the command and toggle the visibility of the toolbar to hidden, and my design screen is not obstructed by any toolbar while using the activated command. If I want to reuse the command it is just normal behavior like pressing the space bar etc. If I like to use a different command then I just swipe to the screen edge which toggles the visibility of (all) open toolbars. So I can also open a default Rhino toolbar (or any other toolbar you open) from the menu and the behavior of that is exactly similar, when activating a command all visible toolbars on the screen will hide (not close) and can be toggled in visibility by using the screen edge until that specific toolbar is closed.
