First, I am new to Rhino 3D. I used another tool that emphasizes “CAD for Artists” to create a couple of little spacecraft toys. I am just doing this as a hobbyist, and to see if I can do it.
At any rate, the toys I made snap together using some simple connections. I iterated over these and got them snap-fitting good when printed them in both FDM and Resin (I used a Bambu Lab X1C and an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra).
I want to continue playing with this kind of stuff to make cars and trucks, etc. I need a rotational joint (I have played with one but it’s not quite right yet) and a hinge – like an elbow or something. So I am stopping by this forum in case of any of you have experience in this kind of thing that could be passed on. I know there are professionals here that do this, and was just seeing if there are any tips to be had.
Here are some links to two spacecraft that can be printed, and I posted a couple of pictures as well.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
