Tiger+ — 15 tools (exact fillets, molds, unfold, MultiPipe, shells)

I decided to make these tools for the improvements I would like to see while using Rhino — faster fillet exploration, joinery that survives the kernel, paneling that lands on the CNC without rework. Tiger+ puts that model-to-fabrication pipeline in one toolbar: drag a slider for feel, type for precision, and a live orange preview shows exactly what bakes — red shows what won’t, and says why.

The 15 tools: TigerGeometry, TigerFillet, TigerChamfer, TigerBoolean, TigerPipe, TigerMultiPipe, TigerLattice, TigerOffset, TigerSkin, TigerPatch, TigerBridge, TigerUnfold, TigerPlyStack, TigerMold, TigerStrips.

Highlights:

  • Exact closed-form fillets on box solids — real spheres and cylinders (run What on the result), tangent-continuous at any radius
  • MultiPipe with a WYSIWYG preview — what you see is exactly what bakes
  • Multi-part molds (2–6 parts) with male/female registration keys
  • Shell offsets and per-face panel solids that verify the result is actually closed
  • Unfold with matched part IDs, lamination slabs with dowel registration, rib/waffle systems

Built in our Brooklyn fabrication studio and tested against a 5-axis MultiCam — these are the tools we use to ship real work. Feedback and broken test files very welcome.

  • Rhino 8 (Mac + Windows) — unzip, then drag the .yak onto Rhino, or install via _PackageManager
  • Rhino 7 — script edition (BETA): unzip, run the installer with _RunPythonScript
  • Rhino 9 WIP — experimental, built against the Rhino 8 SDK

Thanks for sharing this, but unfortunately I found it buggish.
Probably Is more becasue I’m using them in the wrong way.
As I wrote on the other post (Tiger Fillet) a small videos showing the capabilities would be very helpfull.
